ADOPTION PROCESS     

Please note that P.A.W.S. adoptable animals are housed in foster homes.  Some of our cats are located at the PetSmart adoption center in Greenfield.  To meet one of our pets, please put in an application.  If approved, we will set up a meet-and-greet for you and your chosen animal.

 Step 1: Complete an application to adopt: 

Step 2:  We require 100% spay/neuter of all our adoptable cats and dogs.  No exceptions.  For pets that are  too young to be spayed/neutered before they are placed in their new homes, the approved adopter becomes the new foster home and the adopter must sign an Adopter Foster Agreement.

 Step 3:  If you are approved for adoption, you will be asked to sign the  Adoption Agreement.  

We have a 15-day, money back guarantee on all of our adopted pets from the date the adoption is finalized.   We want to give a pet and its new family two weeks to get to know each other.   If things just aren’t working out at the end of two weeks, bring the pet back to us and we will gladly refund the entire adoption fee.*

The adoption fee for cats and dogs includes:

• spay/neuter surgery
• current year’s vaccinations
• heartworm test for dogs
• Microchip
• Deworming and flea treatment

The adoption fee for rabbits include spay/neuter surgery.
