Henley is a beautiful 2 year old Rottweiler mix looking for her FUREVER  home.  We can only assume in the two rough years of her life she was an outside  dog with no human interaction.  Henley was saved just hours from euthanasia  back in October and was then tested to be heartworm positive. She  underwent heartworm treatment and was cleared to go on December 10th!

Henley is very timid of all humans and does take a little while to warm up. She  requires her kennel to be near at all times because when she is feeling unsure , she retreats for a bit to check things out!  Eventually you will find  her wandering around and even begging for food in the kitchen!  Henley  loves to lay on the couch next to you (after she warms up, of course) and so  very much appreciates her head rubs and massages!  Henley MUST go to a  home with a fenced in yard and other dogs!  She loves to frolic with other dogs-  as a matter of fact she gets along with all dogs big and small, cats,  rabbits and basically any living creature.  She doesn't have an aggressive  or angry bone in her body, even after all she's been through.  Henley would  prefer to live with children 10 years old or older due to her timid  behavior. Henley is not the type of dog who jumps, or gets excited when you come  home- but you KNOW she is grateful for your love because she will ever so  cautiously come up to you while you are relaxing and lick your hand!
