Be still my heart... This boy.....  What a loving, sweet boy that is so eager to please! Mackie was a "chain dog". This means, he was kept outside and tethered to a chain for the very short 2 years of his life.  Since we saved him, he has really come into his own self and seems to be living his best life!  

Mackie is gentle, yet timid at first to try anything.  Once his human assures him it's OK.. he loosens up and enjoys anything and everything you suggest. 

Mackie would love to be a lap dog, if you allow him as well.  While he enjoys his walks and exercise, he is perfectly content to relax on the sofa with you as well!

Mackie will require a fenced in yard, and he is good with other dogs although he can be picky with the dogs he actually wants to be friends with, so a meet and greet would be best!!  He is very good with cats as well.  He has not been around kids in our care- but we feel older, more calm kids would work just fine for him.  Trust us.. once he realizes the kiddos want to play with him he will be all about it!
