Lakota is a healthy, energetic and a strong lady a little over a year old. She gets along with other dogs (although a meet and greet would be in order) and is very curious about cats. We don't know if she would chase a cat if it ran from her. She is also a vocal girl at times and will happily "sing" along to any loud, high pitched noise or boisterous laugh. Lakota is an independent gal that was never taught manners but she’s been working on them!  Her biggest and really ONLY skill she hadn’t mastered is jumping!!!  She’s strong- so if she jumps on you- or a small child- it could knock you down. We’ve been working on this but feel that more formal training might be required ti make her a PERFECT family pet.  For this reason we are saying no kiddos under the age of 10 with her!  With a little love, patience and proper training Lakota will thrive!  She is potty trained and does walk well on a leash!  She does require a fenced in yard- this is a MUST, due to her breed and energy level!
