Licorice is a 1 and 1/2 year old kitty who is loyal and sweet. Her foster had this to say about her: "Licorice is an amazing cat and I cannot believe she isn't adopted. She is very cuddly once comfortable and I usually find her under my blankets sleeping (she untucks my blankets and crawls in). She is definitely a lover and very playful. She hates loud noises and is pretty skittish around people she doesn't know. She needs someplace quiet or she'll be hiding the whole time. Around me, she loves to sit on my lap and just chill. My roommates and I are going to be very sad to see her go." - Olivia S. We feel Licorice may need a few days in a quiet room until she's settled and gets to know her adopter(s). Once she does, however, we think she will come out of her shell. She may always be a shy girl around visitors but we believe if her adopters are patient and willing she will be a wonderful companion.
