Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Large Learn more about the Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler.
Oh my- this sweet girl is the SMARTEST thing! She is definitely a well trained dog that showed up as a stray and was never claimed! Raven- knows EVERYTHING! It is also apparent that she has spent her life as a working dog! She literally will "herd" any other animal she comes in contact with! LOL Raven gets along well with all other animals just fine- however, the cats she live with get very annoyed when she tries to make them walk in a straight line! LOL According to the vet- Raven is very much a full blooded Cattle Dog that was most likely dumped. She does well in a house, but we believe she was living as a barn dog prior to PAWS saving her. PAWS doesn't allow adoptions for outside dogs- unless their are special circumstances and we can tell you that Raven is FULLY potty trained, good with children, good with humans and again- good with animals but if they are smaller than her- they need to walk in a straight line! Raven is loving, and LOYAL does not do her justice. She is SO dedicated to foster mom now that we know she will make a wonderful family dog in any situation really. Because of her breed- she does require a fenced in yard. If you are interested in meeting Raven- please go to pawshancock.org and complete an online application. If you have problems with the application- please email pawshancock@aol.com!
