Two of our wonderful cats, Stampe and Roger, need a little extra TLC! Unfortunately, their needs are expensive, so we are fundraising to help these handsome boys live long, happy, pain-free lives. If you'd like to help, please click the DONATE button below!

Meet Paisley with her cute little pink nose. Ya just want to boop it! And once she gets to know you she'll let you do just that. But when you first meet her she'll need some time to really get to know you. You see, humans failed her once so she's not as quick to trust them again.
From what we can piece together when a family moved to GreenfieldPaisley was hanging around their back door. She would come up to the door and cry to be let in but when she saw the new owners she would get scared and run away. Then one night it was really cold. Hunger and lack of warmth overcame her fears and when the family opened the door she ran right in. But it only took Paisley a few seconds to realize this wasn't her home anymore. She immediately froze in place and looked around with wide eyes. This was her home but it wasn't. Things looked and smelled different. And those weren't her humans no matter how nice the were. Everything was different. The new owners gave her food and they could tell she was a sweet kitty but they had their own pets so they brought Paisley to us.
It's taken time at her foster home but Paisley has slowly come out of her shell and learned to trust. She's still a little cautious and she will need someone who is patient and allow her time to realize she's safe. The foster does not have dogs so we don't know how well she will do around them. She has, however, tolerated the foster families other cats but very slow introductions are recommended. She's also curious about children but does not approach them. We recommend only gentle or older children. The foster family has discovered Paisley has two BIG loves. One is catnip to the point she tries to chew it up. Her other favorite things are kitty toys like little balls, fuzzy mice, pretty much any soft toy is fun! Occasionally she gets the zoomies but when she's done she's happy content girl. She will also sleep in the bed with you if you allow it. The foster family said she started out at the end of the bed and slowly worked her way up. Paisley has a "NO!" zone and that is her belly. Any attempt to touch that and the claws come out. She's not fooling around.
