Little Tara is a pretty, purebred Chihuahua who recently lost the only home she's ever known.  She is a real cuddler and super affectionate with those she knows.  But she can be a little nervous and unsure with strangers and will sometimes even growl a little and show her teeth.  But if you're slow and gentle and give her a chance to get to know you, then you'll have a loving companion for life.  Tara is used to living with other dogs and gets along well with them -- cats too.  She likes to go for walks, is housetrained, and knows basic commands like "sit", "stay", "come", and "lay down".

If you can find a spot in your heart for Tara and a safe home too, she will be so grateful!  She promises to be the best little companion she can be.

Tara is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, dewormed, and treated with heartworm and flea preventative.
