Rascal is a 2-4 year old handsome, long haired, black dog. We think he is a Flat Coated Retriever. He is an all around terrific dog for any type of family. Rascal gets along great with kids and other dogs. He's quiet, well mannered, and we think he is housetrained. Rascal was abandoned by his owner in a small town. For many weeks he wandered from home to home and business to business around town, accepting handouts and a safe place to sleep for a night or two. He would often try to climb in people's cars and have them take him home. But he had no luck finding a home on his own. Finally, the local veterinarian contacted P.A.W.S. to see if we could find him a new forever home. Won't you be his new forever family?

Rascal is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines until January 2014, tested negative for heartworms, treated with flea and heartworm preventative, and dewormed.
