Izzy-Rudy is an owner surrender due to no fault of his own.  Izzy-Rudy was adopted from PAWS as a kitten by a family and loved dearly.  Unfortunately, his family was transferred out of country and this countries policies prevented Izzy-Rudy from moving with the family and they felt that the best option was to return him to us for care and re-homing.

You may be thinking, "Why is his name Izzy-Rudy?"  Well, as a kitten, we at PAWS had named him Rudy.  Upon adoption, his new family changed his name to Izzy and he has known this name for  5 years.  So when he came back to us, we were perplexed on what to call him, as we have a calico named Izzie who is also up for adoption.  So do we start calling him by his kitten name of Rudy? Do we call him Izzy, and then have to further clarify which Iz we are talking about?  We asked ourselves Is he Rudy or Is he Izzy?  So we stuck with the first option: Is he Rudy, hence Izzy-Rudy. 

He is  neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date  on vaccinations.  Izzy-Rudy is also de-clawed.

He has tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, been dewormed, and treated with flea preventative.
