Jasper is a 9 pound white, male, Maltese. He loves people and most other dogs most of the time. He's used to living with other dogs and with cats and gets along well with them. He's very playful and loves to go for walks and run around with his dog buddies. He's very active but he also loves to climb on a lap and cuddle. When Jasper first came to PAWS from Indy Animal Control, he had a very bad case of kennel cough and he had a hard time recovering from it. After taking x-rays, the vet discovered that he basically has only one fully functioning lung. His other lung is partially collapsed -- either from abuse or a congenital defect. Now that he's healthy, you'd never know there was anything wrong with him. Jasper is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, started on monthly heartworm & flea preventative and been dewormed.
