Stampe came to PAWS from a hoarding situation earlier this year, and almost immediately, his foster Mom realized something was wrong. Stampe would start sneezing uncontrollably, and blood would start coming out of his nose. Even hours after one of these "fits", she could hear him "sniffling" blood back up into his sinuses. Sometimes, blood even comes from the corners of his mouth. He has been to 3 vets, had x-rays, blood tests, but nothing shows up as odd/out of the ordinary. Stampe is a super sweet, loving, friendly, funny guy, and besides also needing some dental work (which no vet will do because of his nose bleeds), he is a happy, healthy guy! His foster Mom, and all of us here at PAWS are not ready to give up on the old man just yet! He did quite well on a daily steroid regime, but that is not a permanent fix. Unfortunately, we have done the basics, and finances stop us from continued testing to find the direct cause of his bleeding issue. We are in DESPERATE NEED of financial support so we can continue to try and help find a cure/treatment plan so Stampe can get his dental work, stop the sneezing/nose bleeds, and our end hope would be to find him his forever home, rather than going in the dreaded direction we definitely don't feel he's ready for.
