Caesar is the sweetest, most mannerly gentleman in our care.  Caesar was adopted and returned through no fault of his own.  His adopter had a stroke and could no longer care for him.  This sweet, 9 year old boy is relaxed and his mission in life is to be near his human and give him/her unconditional love!  Caesar is great with kids of all ages.  In his previous home he lived with kids 3 years old and up.  The kids were taught proper respect, but he totally adored them.  Caesar is also good with dogs his size.  He is most likely good with all dogs- but has never been around dogs smaller than 50lbs.  Caesar is NOT a big fan of cats.  Again- he has never been around a cat face to face- but when seeing a cat on the other side of the fence he was very, very interested!

We do know that if there are multiple dogs in the house- Caesar should be fed separately at all times and all food should be picked up upon the end of the feeding to avoid any problems. He will low growl when his dog siblings come near his food- but WILL NOT growl if humans come near him or even try and take his food away. 

Caesar would make an excellent dog as a deter for theft, in any home.  He barks at strangers and appears to be very intimidating but his family knows he is a Gentle Giant at heart!  Caesar would be an excellent pet for a slow paced family, OR a fast moving family as he is adaptable to his environment.  He only wants to please. 

Because of his chillaxed behavior- Caesar does not require a fenced in yard- BUT he does require a walk or 2 a day to stretch his legs!  If you are interested in meeting this sweet Senior- contact www.pawshancock.org and complete an adoption application.  We can then set up a sleepover so you can try Caesar in your home before you commit.
